the pull-down menu to the right contains a growing list of musical categories for artists to be displayed. we encourage participants to choose one of these categories to fall under, however, we don't want to pigeon-hole anyone. so if you feel that a new genre should be created to describe your music (and hopefully others!), just let us know and we'll add it to the list.
